Terms & Conditions

The rules for using this service

Last updated: 6 October 2026

1. Agreement

By using AI Crop Health you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The service is operated by The Sensing Squad Agritech Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata, West Bengal, India, contactable at harekrishnahareramramram108@gmail.com.

2. Who may use it

You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter a contract. You must give accurate information, especially for verification, and you are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us immediately at harekrishnahareramramram108@gmail.com if you think someone else is using it.

3. Crop diagnosis is advisory only

Please read this section carefully — it is the most important one.

  • Disease diagnosis, crop recommendations and fertilizer suggestions are produced by machine-learning models.
  • They can be wrong, including confidently wrong. The accuracy of the disease model has not been independently measured.
  • They are not a substitute for a qualified agronomist, plant pathologist or your local agricultural extension officer.
  • Confirm with a professional before you spend money on treatment, apply any chemical, or destroy a crop.
  • You are solely responsible for what you do with the output.

Follow the label and the law for any pesticide or fertilizer you apply. We do not supply chemicals and we do not warrant that a suggested product is approved, available or appropriate for your land.

4. Land leasing

We are a platform that introduces land owners to farmers. We are not a party to any lease, not an agent for either side, and not a broker.

  • Any lease is a contract between the owner and the farmer alone.
  • Verification checks the documents submitted to us. It is not a guarantee of good title, of a party's honesty, or of their ability to perform.
  • Do your own checks on title and boundaries before committing. Land records are the authoritative source, not this platform.
  • Agreements generated here are templates for convenience. Have one reviewed before signing; registration and stamp duty may be required by law.
  • Rent, payment and disputes are between the two parties. We do not hold money and we do not arbitrate.

5. IoT devices and irrigation

  • You own and are responsible for your hardware, its installation and its electrical safety.
  • Each device has its own key. Keep it secret; anyone holding it can submit readings as that device. Rotate it immediately if it leaks.
  • Sensor data may be delayed, missing or wrong — through connectivity loss, power failure, a damaged sensor or tampering.
  • Automated irrigation acts on that data. A faulty reading can water at the wrong time or fail to water at all. Do not rely on this system alone where failure would cause real loss, and keep a manual check.
  • You must not submit readings for land you do not own or lawfully farm.

6. Marketplace

Listings are provided by sellers. Prices and availability can change. We do not warrant that any product is fit for your purpose. Market price information is indicative and may be out of date; do not trade solely on it.

7. What you must not do

  • Break any applicable law.
  • Impersonate anyone, or submit forged or altered documents.
  • Upload someone else's identity documents without their consent.
  • Probe, scrape, overload or attempt to bypass the security of the service, including the device ingest API.
  • Submit false sensor data, or data for land you have no right to.
  • Upload malware, or anything unlawful or abusive.
  • Resell or redistribute the service or its data without our written permission.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of what you upload. You grant us a licence to store and process it so we can operate the service — for example running a photograph through diagnosis and showing it back to you in your history. We may use anonymised, aggregated data to improve the models. We will not publish your identifiable photographs or documents without your permission.

9. Availability

We provide the service "as is" and do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and we may need downtime for maintenance. Where reasonably possible we will give notice.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for crop loss, reduced yield, wasted treatment costs, lost profit, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this service — including a wrong diagnosis, a missed alert, an irrigation action or failure, or a dispute with another user. Where liability cannot be excluded it is limited to [AMOUNT / the fees you paid us in the preceding 12 months].

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, submits forged documents or false sensor data, or puts the service or other users at risk. You may close your account at any time by contacting harekrishnahareramramram108@gmail.com. Obligations under a lease you have already entered survive closure.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above will change, and for significant changes we will notify you. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal have exclusive jurisdiction.
