Using the platform

What can AgriCulture help me with?

AgriCulture brings crop disease diagnosis, crop and fertilizer recommendations, weather insights, farming guidance, and the AgroLease land marketplace into one platform.

Do I need an account to use the tools?

Some public information is available without an account. An account is required for AgroLease registration, land requests, owner listings, and account-specific dashboards.

How do I switch between Farmer and Land Owner?

Use Switch Role from your workspace navigation. You can only switch to roles registered on your account.

How do I register an AgroLease account?

Choose Land Owner or Farmer during registration, enter your mobile number and email, then complete the role-specific onboarding steps.

Which mobile number formats are accepted?

You can use a 10-digit Indian mobile number or include the +91 country code with spaces or hyphens.

AgroLease

How does owner verification work?

Land owners submit a government ID, ownership proof, address proof, and optionally a selfie. An administrator reviews the documents before the owner can publish land.

When does a land listing appear to farmers?

New listings remain pending until an administrator verifies the owner and approves the land details. Approved listings become available in Find Land.

How are nearby land results ranked?

When coordinates are available, results are ranked by geographic distance. Text similarity is used as a fallback for older listings without coordinates.

How does a farmer request a lease?

Open an approved listing in Find Land, review its details, and submit a lease request with a message to the owner.

When can an owner add land?

After Admin verifies the owner documents, the Add Land workflow becomes available in the Owner Dashboard.

Crop health

How should I upload a diagnosis image?

Use a clear, well-lit image focused on the affected leaf or plant. Avoid severe blur, heavy shadows, and images where the plant is too small.

Are AI recommendations a replacement for an expert?

No. AI results are decision-support guidance. For severe damage, uncertain diagnosis, or chemical treatment, consult a qualified agricultural professional.

What information improves crop recommendations?

Provide accurate soil nutrients, pH, rainfall, temperature, humidity, and location information for more useful recommendations.

Where can I find weather and forecast information?

Use the Weather pages from the Features menu to view current conditions, forecasts, and agricultural weather alerts.
